Follow in the footsteps of the Republican exile on this educational journey through northern Catalonia and southern France. A powerful experience across Figueres, La Jonquera, La Vajol and Collioure, where history and memory come alive in a stunning natural setting.

School Group Trip in Roses: The Exile Route | Roses Internacional Tours

Includes:

Accommodation with local host families / small family-run hotel. Students accommodated in shared rooms. Full board.
Teachers accommodated in single rooms, full board, with host families or in a small family-run hotel.
Excursion to Figueres. Admission and guided tour of the Dalí Museum.
Visit to the air-raid shelter at Plaça del Gra and the Rambla, in Figueres.
Guided 4x4 tour of the Sant Ferran Castle in Figueres.
Excursion to La Jonquera, guided tour of the Exile Memorial Museum.
Exile route in La Vajol (Coll de Lli, Negrín's Mine and the Minister's House).
Excursion to Collioure (France), visit of the village and Antonio Machado's grave.

Itinerary proposal:

Day 1 – Arrival in Roses

Arrive in Roses, settle into the selected accommodation, allocate rooms and have dinner.

Day 2 – Figueres: Dalí, Sant Ferran and Historical Memory

Excursion to Figueres, including the Dalí Museum, the Plaça del Gra air-raid shelter, the Rambla and Sant Ferran Castle.

Day 3 – MUME and the Route of Exile

Visit the Museum Memorial of Exile in La Jonquera and, after a picnic, follow the La Vajol route via Coll de Lli, the Negrín Mine and the Minister's House.

Day 4 – Collioure and Antonio Machado

Visit Collioure, Antonio Machado's grave and his foundation; picnic lunch and return.

Booking conditions:

A payment of 40% of the total trip cost is required to confirm the budget, with the remaining 60% due 30 days before arrival. Services are subject to availability at the time of confirmation.

Cancellation and refund policy:

The first payment serves as a booking deposit for the trip and will not be refunded under any circumstances.
If, for any unavoidable reason (illness, accident, etc.), a student is unable to participate in the trip, the remaining amount (70%) will be refunded, provided the minimum number of participants is met, according to the following conditions:
Between 15 and 29 days before arrival, 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
Between 8 and 14 days before arrival, 25% of the paid amount will be refunded.
If canceled less than 7 days before the arrival date, no amount will be refunded.
