Day 1 – Arrival in Roses
Students arrive in Roses and are welcomed by their host families. This first day allows them to get acquainted with their surroundings and begin integrating into local life. The evening ends with a family dinner, fostering connection and an introduction to Mediterranean culture.
Day 2 – Spanish classes and visit to the Ciutadella
After breakfast with the family, students attend their first Spanish class session from 9:00 to 13:00, focusing on either beginner Spanish or preparation for the official DELE B1/B2 exam. After classes, they enjoy a picnic lunch with their family. In the afternoon, a guided tour of the Ciutadella de Roses explores the city’s history and heritage. The day concludes with family immersion and dinner at home.
Day 3 – Classes, hiking and “Building an Aquarium”
The day starts with breakfast with the family and the morning Spanish class. After a picnic lunch, students take a hike along the Camino de Ronda, enjoying the outdoors, followed by the creative activity “Building an Aquarium”. The afternoon is dedicated to language immersion with the family, ending with dinner at home.
Day 4 – Classes and excursion to Figueres
After breakfast, morning Spanish classes are held, followed by a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, students take a half-day excursion to Figueres, visiting the Salvador Dalí Theatre-Museum with a guide and exploring the city. They return to Roses to continue family immersion and have dinner at home.
Day 5 – Classes and visit to the Castle of the Trinity
The day begins with breakfast and morning Spanish classes. After the picnic lunch, students visit the Castle of the Trinity, with a guided tour exploring the life of a soldier and local history. The afternoon is spent with family immersion, followed by dinner at home.
Day 6 – Classes and excursion to Cadaqués
After breakfast, students attend morning Spanish classes. Following a picnic lunch, they go on a boat excursion to Cadaqués, with a one-and-a-half-hour stop to explore the picturesque village that inspired the surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. They return to Roses in the afternoon for family immersion and dinner at home.
Day 7 – Aquabrava Water Park
After breakfast with the family, students enjoy a full day at Aquabrava Water Park, including activities and lunch on site. This day combines fun, relaxation, and cultural immersion.
Day 8 – Farewell and departure
Students have breakfast with their families and say goodbye before returning to France, completing a unique experience of language learning, cultural immersion, and family life in Roses.
