The Don Quixote Route: A Literary and Cultural Journey
The Route of Don Quixote is a cultural and tourist journey through the places mentioned in Miguel de Cervantes' novel Don Quixote, mainly in the province of Castilla-La Mancha. This itinerary allows visitors to immerse themselves in the world of the ingenious gentleman, exploring towns and landscapes that inspired the literary work.

Itinerary proposal:(It can be adapted according to the group's needs)
Day 1 – Arrival in the Madrid or Toledo area
Upon arrival, the group is registered and room assignments are made. Free time follows to settle in before dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 – Madrid: Cervantes and the Golden Age
After breakfast, visit the Prado Museum, followed by a guided tour focusing on iconic sites related to Miguel de Cervantes in the Barrio de las Letras. Highlights include his statue, his former house (exterior-only) and the Convent of the Barefoot Trinitarians (entry not included). The tour continues at the Sociedad Cervantina, the historic printing workshop of Don Quixote, and includes entrance to the Juan de la Cuesta printing press, where the second part was printed in the 17th century. Return for dinner and overnight.
Day 3 – Toledo: the City of Three Cultures
After breakfast, departure for Toledo and a guided morning tour of the exteriors of monuments from Christian, Jewish, and Muslim heritage. The guide shares anecdotes and legends to illustrate the city's cultural legacy. Lunch not included. The afternoon is free for independent exploration before returning for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 – Consuegra: Castles and Windmills
Breakfast and departure to Consuegra for a theatrical castle visit and entrance to the Molino de la Maquinaria, both included. Free time for lunch (not included), then return to lodging, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 – El Toboso & Campo de Criptana
After breakfast, travel to El Toboso, the village of Dulcinea, visiting the Casa de Dulcinea and the Cervantes Museum, showcasing editions of Don Quixote in more than 70 languages. Continuation to Campo de Criptana, the Land of the Giants, famous for its iconic windmills that inspired Don Quixote. Ascend the Sierra de los Molinos for panoramic views. Return for dinner and overnight. Lunch not included.
Day 6 – Return
Breakfast and departure back to origin, concluding this literary and cultural immersion.
